New Event: May 1st: “Survival Auto Maintenance,” Bozeman, Montana

Lysander Spooner University will sponsor a live clinic on “Survival Auto Maintenance” on Sunday, May 1 at 1:00 pm in Bozeman, Montana. Location is yet to be determined, but will likely be in the parking lot of a Bozeman auto parts store so that we can easily acquire parts to repair the cars.

Bring your cars that need work. If we have enough participants we will separate into repair teams that will race each other to repair cars. All will be supervised by some of Montana’s top survival mechanics.

This will be a hands-on educational experience, open to everyone. Homeschoolers are welcome to participate. All ages welcome.

The government is actively waging war on our rights to travel freely by automobile. Congress has recently enacted laws requiring new cars to be made with computer devices allowing the government to shut them down remotely at any time.

Governments worldwide are actively seeking to abolish petroleum powered vehicles, and to require everyone to use electric vehicles, which government can more easily control.

Nine Percent of Children Attempted Suicide Under COVID Lockdowns

The New York Times, which fiercely promoted the government’s COVID-19 “pandemic” agenda throughout 2020 and 2021, is now out with an article about a CDC study.

The study found that lockdowns and “zoom” schooling from home left many American children vulnerable to abuse, depression and hunger.

Nine percent of children in the survey reported they attempted suicide during COVID-19 restrictions.

Twenty-nine percent of those interviewed in the survey reported that a parent or another adult in the home lost a job, and 24 percent said that they had experienced hunger.

55.1 percent of teenage respondents saying they suffered emotional abuse from a parent or another adult in their house in the preceding year, and 11.3 percent saying they suffered physical abuse.

Canada has fallen. Censorship, arrests of opposition leaders, vaxx passports, imprisonment of dissidents, seizure of property and bank accounts without warrant

OTTAWA — Randy Hillier, an independent member of Ontario’s legislature, surrendered to Ottawa police on Monday to face nine charges related to trucker convoy protests against pandemic measures in the nation’s capital. Among the charges is one for assaulting police officers. The charge appears to be based on a momentary incident in which Hillier allegedly moved a single bicycle rack barricade where officers stood a dozen feet away.

Canadian authorities have now seized bank accounts of dozens of protestors—without any court proceedings, charges or other due process. Canadian authorities have even blocked crowdfunding efforts of protestors, and apparently pocketed money intended for protestors.

Those in Canada who refuse (or in some cases, criticize) Moderna or Pfizer COVID-19 injections are now completely unable to travel using any public transportation. They are essentially prisoners within Canada. At least two Canadians have been arrested in Montana trying to escape by walking over the border in freezing conditions.

And today, Canadian Foreign Minister Melanie Joly announced that Canada must regulate the internet to curb Russian disinformation. A federal ban on Kremlin-funded TV is not enough, said Joly: “My mandate as foreign minister is really to counter propaganda online.”

Canada is not even at war with Russia.

Can the 1st Amendment Survive? America’s legal profession is rapidly embracing support for censorship

A Boston College Law School professor recently asked his students (in a constitutional law class): “Who does not think we should scrap the constitution?” Not a single person raised their hand.

We at Lysander Spooner University are very cognizant of critiques of the U.S. Constitution. Spooner famously authored one of history’s greatest essays, “The Constitution of No Authority,” which pointed out that no one should ever be bound by a document he didn’t sign himself.

But a recent essay by Aaron Sibarium highlights the increasing “left” or “woke” orientation of today’s law students. They do not detest the Constitution because it wasn’t signed by the current generation; they despise it because it was authored by white males and emphasizes such ‘white supremacist’ notions as property rights and (some) individual liberties. (The big-government portions of the Constitution appear to be the only parts that modern law students WOULD embrace.)

Sibarium’s detailed report, “The Takeover of America’s Legal System,” documents the increasingly Marxist, totalitarian orientation of current law students–and their professors.

Thomas Sowell has remarked that modern students can attend school from kindergarten to graduate school without ever hearing a single anti-government lecture. Today’s higher (and lower) education institutions teach a constant curriculum of pro-government, pro-socialist ideology.

Law students who do not embrace the new leftism face “social death” among their peers. Conservative or libertarian speakers at modern law schools are now shouted down at some schools–including Yale Law School. The American Bar Association now REQUIRES accredited law schools to teach critical race theory and other pro-government theories.

Idaho CPS agents take baby from parents after mom misses a single doctor visit

America has become a land of medical kidnappings and child trafficking by government “health” workers. Today it is common for government agents to take babies and toddlers from families if authorities notice crayon scribbling on a wall, messy or dirty bedrooms, refrigerators with too little (or too much) food, or untidy organization of toys, clothes or other household items.

One of the most common ways for parents to lose their children to the state occurs when parents fail to obey or follow suggestions by medical authorities.

Last week, a 10-month-old boy in Meridian, Idaho, “Baby Cyrus,” was taken by police and CPS workers after Cyrus’ mom canceled a single doctor visit. (Baby Cyrus had been slightly underweight, which had prompted the mother to seek medical advice days earlier.)

After protestors arrived at the CPS office by the dozens, authorities surrendered Baby Cyrus back to the parents.

Ukranian government bans 11 opposition parties for ‘obstructing unity’

Even as government officials in the US and NATO move to militarily support Ukraine, the Ukranian government has suspended the activities of almost a dozen opposition parties, including the second-largest party in the Ukranian Parliament. These suspensions will be indefinite,
“for as long as the conflict with Russia continues,” according to Infowars.

“Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced the decision of the country’s National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) on Sunday.”

“Any activity of politicians aimed at division and collaboration won’t be successful, but will instead be faced with a harsh response,” the president warned.

A total of 11 parties were blacklisted, including Opposition Platform – For Life, which is the second-biggest in the Verkhovna Rada with 39 seats; Party of Shariy, founded by harsh critic of the Kiev authorities, blogger Anatoly Shariy; and Nashi party, headed by Evgeniy Murayev.

Independent journalist travels to Ukraine seeking war imagery; finds an elaborate stage set

Kiev, Ukraine. March 12. An independent (apparently American) journalist labeling him or herself “Illusion Warfare Report” recently flew to Poland where he or she was told he or she had just 24 hours to travel into neighboring Ukraine to ‘do journalism” regarding the supposed Russian invasion.

What the alternative journalist described was a staged LARP (live action role-playing game) experience. Journalists are made to follow pre-ordained routes into photo opportunities where obvious props have been set up.

Outside the prescribed perimeters there are few signs of any war, invasion, or even social distress (other than unemployment and lack of accessible money or cash). Yet inside the prescribed tour, things were designed to appear essentially as mainstream news describes. A fiery burn barrel. Ukranians packing into train stations. A lone tank driving around the streets apparently eager to be photographed. sirens and foghorns blaring randomly.

Crowds of journalists and apparent crisis actors are made to go through artificial bottlenecks, creating the illusion of chaos and crowding. But “1min walk away from the movie set… Life is normal.” And everywhere the western journalists are watched by security guards who stop them if they stray from prescribed tour routes.

In 1878 French government investors paid every French newspaper to promote construction of the Panama Canal

From the book “Famous Financial Fiascos” by John Train (1985):

The western world’s elites first began pondering the development of a canal across the Isthmas of Panama in the 1880s. It was the French government that initiated the project. (Later, the US government took the lead in the decades-long project.)

Train writes that the leading champion of the Canal idea “neglected to pay off the newspaper publishers and journalists, whose enthusiasm was linked to their subsidies.”

Thus, French (and the world’s) newspapers were less than supportive of the project. Many reported that the area was dangerous and disease-ridden. Investors were reluctant to buy into the idea.

Then, the developers traveled to Panama with their families for photo opportunities. Upon their return, they paid many thousands of francs to reporters to run favorable stories. “Faith was restored . . . helped this time by massive subsidies to the newspapers.”

But the dangers of Panama had yet to begin. “Workers and supervisors fell side by side: the death toll reached the tens of thousands (50,000 by some accounts), including two-thirds of all the Frenchmen who set foot on the Isthmas.”

The French developers paid massive bribes to French officials for their monopoly:

[A]t least 150 [French] senators and deputies, and almost every major paper in the country, had partaken of the torrent of bribes. Only a third of the money invested had gone into actual excavation; a third had gone into bribery and a third simply wasted. . . . Over a hundred parliamentarians were brought to trial, but a single poor naif who actually confessed was the only one found guilty.

Washington, D.C. March 1. Jan. 6, 2021 was a truly terrifying day for the US government. Americans who contested the November 2020 election dared to riot amid the government’ sacred marble Capitol for some four (4) hours!

The horror!

Now the first alleged rioter to face trial is being tried by a masked, mostly-Marxist jury in a Washington, D.C. courtroom.

In virtual secret.

According to Oregonian Ken Medenbach, who was thrown out of the courthouse for seeking to attend, the court is allowing just two (2) people in the audience: one mainstream ‘journalist’ and just one member of the community.

The Sixth Amendment requires that every accused defendant has a right to a public trial.

What are Guy Reffitt’s alleged crimes? He is accused of obstructing a government proceeding. By merely being present outside the US Capitol on January 6. Reffitt has been HELD WITHOUT BAIL in a DC jail for OVER A YEAR on grounds that he is too dangerous for pre-trial release.

The Eighth Amendment requires that every defendant is entitled to reasonable bail.

Katelyn Polantz, writing for the pro-government-extremist CNN, reports that “Judge Dabney Friedrich decided not to allow any members of the public to witness the evidence presentation in person at the historic trial that’s expected to last more than a week.” “Friedrich cited space concerns due to stringent coronavirus protocols at the federal courthouse in Washington, DC, designed to ensure that jurors and witnesses at trials are spread out from one another.” “The situation highlights an ongoing struggle in federal courtrooms, which never allow recordings of their proceedings to be broadcast widely, between the integrity of jury trials and court administrators’ attempts to prevent the spread of disease.”

According to the Gateway Pundit, “Despite never getting closer than 20 feet from officers at the Capitol, never entering the building, and only carrying a megaphone, Reffitt was arrested in a pre-dawn military-style raid on his home by FBI with guns pointed at his wife and kids.”

CDC promotes mask study with claims it proved masks work. But fine print says “Not statistically significant.” And underlying data show masks provide NO protection at all!

Imagine a study of people’s self-reported mask compliance compared to the same people’s rates of positive test reports. You can imagine that those who “test positive” for COVID-19 are likely to come up with an explanation of how they might have contracted the dreaded germ. Perhaps they might say they failed to properly social distance, or failed to wear their masks in every situation. Perhaps those who “test negative” for COVID-19 might be inclined to say they have properly complied with government COVID-19 protocols.
We can imagine other potential problems with such a study. Skeptics of the COVID-19 panic might be less likely to participate in the study at all. True believers, who are more likely to get tested in the first place, might be overrepresented.

But the CDC relied heavily on just such a questionable study to promote mask mandates. Despite the study specifically warning that the results were “not statistically significant.”

Beginning in September of 2021, every major mainstream media outlet trumpeted the flawed study as “proof” that masks—and therefore, mask mandates, work.

Nature reported that “Face masks for COVID pass their largest test yet:
A rigorous study finds that surgical masks are highly protective.” LiveScience ran the headline “Huge, gold-standard study shows unequivocally that surgical masks work to reduce coronavirus spread.” The Washington Post pronounced “We conducted the largest study on masks and covid-19: They work.” WebMD claimed “Large Study Confirms Masks Work to Limit COVID-19 Spread.” An ABC affiliate announced “Yale study of Bangladesh shows the ‘effectiveness of masks.'”

Steve Kirsch carefully examined the data behind the study. “When you actually look at the data, the study showed masks make NO difference.”

“The data makes it clear that virtually the entire mainstream medical community and mainstream media are spreading COVID misinformation and they need to be arrested by the DHS as domestic terrorists per their new guidelines.

These people are deluding the public into believing masks work, endangering lives.”
