Oregon State, U-Mass, Amherst, require students to take pro-government “social justice” classes
America’s government supported colleges and universities promote an endless stream of pro-government extremist content.
This semester, students at Oregon State University will be required to take a course on “social justice.” Other government colleges such as the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, already require students to pass such courses.
“Social Justice” is code for a pro-government orientation that emphasizes government-controlled redistribution and collective, government-approved activity over individualism.
Under the “social justice” agenda, there is a right and a wrong position on such topics as welfare, health care, public lands, race relations, language and the climate. Speech, expression and dress are monitored closely for signs of disagreement or dissent.

U.S. Olympians robbed in Brazil by thieves posing as cops
The blind trust that many people have in government and policing is an achilles heel for them.
Many serial killers have masqueraded as police officers, finding that people will tend to blindly follow and trust a man wearing a shiny badge and a government-style costume. Many serial rapists also use the same trick, finding that women will pull over their vehicles whenever someone flashes a siren.
At the Olympics in Brazil, U.S. Gold Medal-winning swimmer Ryan Lochte and other Olympians in a taxi were pulled over by gun-wielding people who flashed badges and guns and robbed them. See here.

Baltimore Police totally ignore 4th amendment restrictions
After months of urban rioting and complaints in Baltimore, the U.S. Justice Department commissioned a report into police practices there.
The results show a tyrannical local government, drunk on power and gorged on money, openly defying constitutional limits regarding searches and seizures.
The report found that in Baltimore, police routinely stop people on the street without reasonable suspicion.
Of the more than 300,000 pedestrian stops that occurred over a 5 1/2-year span, only 3.7 percent led to an arrest or citation — and many of those were later dropped.
One middle-aged African-American man was stopped 30 times and never charged.
After one adolescent filed a complaint alleging that a cop pulled down his pants on the street, he told investigators, the same cop later “pushed the teenager against a wall, pulled down his pants and grabbed his genitals.”
One woman was stripped naked on the street while police probed her “anal cavity.” She was not charged.

“Ship of Fools 2” becomes worldwide laughing stock as climate skeptics monitor its course
Months ago a group of true believers in apocalyptic man-made global warming loudly announced a sailing expedition by which they planned to sail around the Arctic Circle.
“We are sailing around the Arctic, around the North Pole,” says the group’s website, “to demonstrate that due to progressive sea ice recession due to Arctic climate change, this is now possible during one season. We hope that the ‘success’ of this expedition will draw attention to the issues surrounding the changing Arctic landscape . . .”
Now the group has become a worldwide joke. Climate skeptics are having days of fun charting the hapless “adventurers” as they fail to get through the feet-thick ice covering the region. See here.

Greenland’s ice mass has been growing since the time period the Olympics propaganda squad selected to show the ice “disappearing.”
Last week’s Olympic opening ceremonies featured a pro-government propaganda film proclaiming that human-released greenhouse gasses were causing Greenland’s ice and snow to disappear.
“Animated maps showed Greenland “disappearing very quickly” and Amsterdam, Dubai, Miami, Shanghai, Lagos and Rio being swallowed up by rising seas.”

Americans renouncing U.S. citizenship at a rate 15 times higher than in previous years
Government overregulation is forcing many Americans to flee the U.S.

“Affordable Care Act” Premiums to Increase an Average of 9 Percent
Ever since the passage of Medicare in 1965, health care costs have increased much faster than inflation.
This is because Medicare increased demand without increasing supply, causing prices to rise.
Government trusters, in response, have looked for MORE GOVERNMENT to fix the problem. In 2009, the U.S. government enacted the “Affordable Care Act,” purportedly designed to help the poor obtain health care.
Now, health insurance premiums are set to increase an average of 9 percent, according to an analysis of 17 cities by the Kaiser Family Foundation. But some hikes are far higher: Blue Cross Blue Shield has proposed increases of 40 percent in Alabama and 60 percent in Texas.
