Five of the current justices graduated from Harvard Law School. The other three went to Yale. Justice Ginsburg started at Harvard and graduated from Columbia.
None are Protestants.
While religious affiliation may seem trifling, sociologists have documented a correlation between Protestantism and individualist ideology.

There is no valid reason for governments to OWN universities. Every argument in favor of government universities is easily disproved. (For example, government universities have DECREASED the proportion of poor students in higher education, not increased it, see here; MOST government-funded research at government universities is flawed or false, see here; and government universities churn out false and flawed research at a cost of billions annually, see here. And government universities are among the least free places in America; often less free than parochial universities.)
Now the rampant pro-government philosophy in Colorado’s government universities has attracted the scrutiny of Colorado voters (and some Colorado officials).
John Carson, a member of the University of Colorado Board of Regents, has said he intends to investigate the email sent by 3 Colorado State professors saying that discussion of doubts about the government’s manmade-global-warming-by-CO2 theory will not be tolerated.
Carson has also said he is concerned about limits on student research. “If it’s accurate, the [professors’] email even limits the sources of research that students can use,” Mr. Carson said. “For there to be a prohibition on debate and dialogue on a particular public policy issue at the university is certainly alarming.”

It is the dream of every government supremacist: to require that all food, medicine, education and other vital goods and resources be provided by the state.
Venezuela was once among the most productive and dynamic countries in Latin America. Now after 15 years of socialism, Venezuelans are eating out of garbage cans, hunting dogs, cats and pigeons for survival, and starving and dying in the streets. Violent street gangs rule the cities. Women are having themselves sterilized so as not to give birth in the socialist hellhole. See here.

Government support and subsidies of health care increase demand without increasing supply, causing prices to rise.
Since the passage of Medicare in 1965, health care has risen in cost faster than inflation every single year. Meanwhile, less regulated hi-tec industries have produced LOWER prices for higher quality.
Now there is word that Obamacare will cause average premiums to spike more than 20 % in a single year in some states. See here.
This while U.S. GDP growth is 1% or below.

Government colleges and universities are some of the least free places in America. Now three professors co-teaching an online course called “Medical Humanities in the Digital Age” at the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs have told their students that man-made climate change is not open for debate, and those who think otherwise have no place in their course. The professors emailed their students:
“The point of departure for this course is based on the scientific premise that human induced climate change is valid and occurring. We will not, at any time, debate the science of climate change, nor will the ‘other side’ of the climate change debate be taught or discussed in this course.”

Be afraid. Be very afraid. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security has announced that it will take jurisdiction over the U.S. election system.
Elections, declared the Department, are “critical infrastructure.”

U.S. President Obama has officially extended the national emergency that was declared after 9/11/2001:
“Because the terrorist threat continues, the national emergency declared on September 14, 2001, and the powers and authorities adopted to deal with that emergency must continue in effect beyond September 14, 2016.”
Few Americans are aware of how many ongoing “national emergencies” have been declared. See here.
Since the Great Depression, the U.S. government has operated under a state of ‘permanent emergency.’ President after president has used these ‘national emergencies’ to justify a wide range of extra-constitutional operations against the American people.

Starving Venezuelans are circulating petitions to recall their president and other officials who impose the horrors of socialism upon them.
The Venezuela Constitution provides for such recall petitions.
“Nearly two million Venezuelans have signed the recall petition.”
President “Maduro’s underlings are unjustly harassing and even arresting citizens circulating the recall petition — just as previous electoral opponents of the regime have been arrested on trumped-up charges and often sentenced to long prison terms.”
“Now, Pres. Maduro has ordered five high cabinet minsters to review the recall petitions for the names of government workers in their employ and to fire any workers found to have actually used their rights.”
