EPA predicts “hundreds of billions” of dollars of damages annually from climate change
The LA Times is out with another doomsday story about apocalyptic-manmade-global-warming-by-CO2. The LA Times cites an EPA study predicting ruined bridges, dirty air, crop failure, economic collapse due to lack of labor productivity and property destruction. Total costs–unless governments quickly advance toward socialism and controlling the energy industry–will be in the hundreds of billions of …

Washington Governor Inslee uses his office as a vendor to sell “climate doomsday,” and re-routs donations to environmentalist groups to avoid campaign finance limits
Washington’s Governor Jay Inslee recently announced his Democratic candidacy for the Presidency. Inslee makes stopping ‘climate doomsday’ his feature issue. But Anthony Watts has broken the story behind Inslee’s climate catastrophe campaign. As Governor, Inslee makes serial announcements of new ‘groups’ that generally do not in fact exist (they are websites), but which somehow have …

Governments seek to secretly spread climate hysteria through religion
The promotion of climate change hysteria is estimated to be a $2 trillion-per-year industry. Governments spend billions pushing global-warming ‘research’ grants on university professors. Government ‘data’ agencies invest additional billions adjusting data to match the theory behind the scheme. Environmentalist groups spend additional millions to promote the message. Now, a subcommittee of the UN’s Intergovernmental …

Americans increasingly detest their government; but it keeps getting bigger and more powerful
Nick Gillespie of Reason Magazine has documented the increasing anti-government opinions of Americans. “In 1964, according to Pew Research, 77 percent of respondents agreed with the statement that they “can trust the government in Washington always or most of the time.” By 2015, that figure stood at just 19 percent.” A Gallup poll, conducted regularly …

Declassified documents show the Pentagon has secretly spent millions of dollars to promote pageantry surrounding the sacrifices of the troops. Americans proudly stand in silence at NFL games and honor the troops with moments of silence …
