More Than 1 In 4 Americans Believe Government Is The Enemy

Pew Research Center. Dec. 2015.  Statistically, the average person in the world is more likely to be killed by his own government than by any foreign government, any terrorist, or any criminal.

One’s own government is the greatest source of potential danger for the average person in the world.

Now, one-quarter of all Americans appear to be acknowledging the growing threat posed by advancing government.

Pew Research Center found that 27 percent of registered voters say they think of government as an enemy, up 8 points since 1996. See hereSee here. 

Those who feel “basically content” with government are an extremist minority, constituting only 18 percent.
